FunnyPlaying has shown off an early prototype of a miniature, DMG-style Game Boy handheld with a feature that sets it apart from most devices in its category: it supports physical Game Boy cartridges in addition to standard SD card and ROM file support.
The device doesn't have a confirmed final name yet. References to "MiniGB" or "Retro Pixel MiniGB" circulating online are inferred from prototype materials rather than official branding, so they shouldn't be treated as confirmed. Pricing hasn't been announced either.
